Appointments-Here at Albert Lea Veterinary Clinic, we operate mainly by appointment. We do allow walk-ins and we will do our best to fit you in between scheduled appointments if you prefer to just come in and take a seat.
Emergencies do happen and are always our top priority. We understand that that is exactly what you would want if the emergency were yours and we truly appreciate your patience if you have an appointment and you have to wait. We will do our best to get you in and out in as timely a way as possible.
Drop-offs are always welcome. If your pet suddenly gets ill or has something unexpected happen to it, give us a call and we'll have you drop off your pet for a few hours. This allows us to examine and treat your pet in between scheduled appointments and allows you to feel peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands while not requiring you to miss other obligations in your day. Once the doctor has examined your pet, they will give you a call to discuss the diagnosis, treatment plan, and let you know when you may pick up your pet. This is not for routine services such as vaccinations, but rather for the unforeseen things that sometimes happen. There is no extra charge for this service.
Payment is due in full at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, both credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, VetBilling, and Scratchpay.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection, and that of others, we prefer that all dogs be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
